Welcome!

Please join us as we head into the deep waters of our adoption journey for beautiful Chloe Grace. She is five years old and is waiting for us in Huainan, Anhui, China. I have made a silent promise to her to chronicle our journey and hers as I did when we adopted Kaleb from Ethiopia. I've titled the blog "Love, Laughter, and Lunacy" because that truly sums up our crazy, wonderful family.

3/6/12 - Notified of Consulate Appointment - 4/3/2011
3/2/12 - Received travel approval
2/21/12 - Article 5 picked up from U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou
2/7/2012 - Paperwork hand delivered to U.S. Consulate in China for Article 5
2/3/2012 - Received confirmation letter stating that the NVC has forwarded our info. to the U.S. Consulate in China
2/2/2012 - Received email confirmation from NVC that they had entered our info. into their system
1/26/2012 - Received verbal i800 pre-approval
1/17/2012 - USCIS received i800 paperwork
1/13/2012 - i800 paperwork sent to USCIS
1/9/2012 - Received i800A approval
12/8/2011 - Walked in for fingerprinting
11/25/2011 - Received fingerprint appointment for 12/15/2011
11/1/2011 - Homestudy update approved and sent to USCIS for updated I-797
10/24/2011 - Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from China
10/14/2011 - Pre-Approal (PA)
10/2/2011 - Letter of Intent (LOI) sent
9/29/2011 - Received referral for Chloe
